ANGEL STATUARY by Andy Smith

THE MERMAID by Nancy Rhodes Harper

YOUNG MAN FROM THE GANG by Gena LaCoste

COWBOY GEAR by Gena LaCoste

Gena said “…Maybe it’s the texture….the handcarving in this saddle, the suede of these chaps, the rough-woven saddle pads, the basket stamping on the breast collar…” To read the rest of Gena’s lovely description of this Fabulous painting, go to  http://genalacoste.blogspot.com/

And the paintings below are not the most recent posts by Raymond Logan and Kim Blair, but I wanted to share them with you anyway!!

ORANGE ICE by Kim Blair

BY A NOSE by Lesley Spanos

Who doesn’t love carousel horses? My favorite are the old cruddy vintage ones, but really I love them all! This painting has such a wonderful composition and that horse straining at the bit in the background is marvelous! Can’t you just hear the carnival music in the background?

EYE BLANCO by Ruth Andre

I love this dark, soulful eye surrounded by paleness. And I think the light coming down from the top is interesting. I’m really considering buying a canvas print… you can too!
